Privacy policy

HydroLog (HydroLog) operates hydrolog.com.au from Perth, WA, Australia. We build drilling program management and bore completion software for hydrogeologists.

The site is a coming-soon page. We do not run user accounts, billing, or a product database on this website yet. We only collect what we need to run early access.

When you request access, we collect:

• Your name
• Company or organisation name
• Work email address
• Role (for example hydrogeologist, project manager, driller)

Our servers may also see a technical IP address for a short time so we can limit spam. We do not keep IP addresses as a customer record. We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or similar trackers on this site.

We use access-request details to:

• Reply to you about a demo, waitlist place, or pilot licence
• Understand which consultancies and roles are asking for HydroLog
• Send product updates you would reasonably expect after requesting access
• Protect the form from abuse

We do not sell personal information. We do not use access-request details for unrelated marketing lists.

We share information only where it is needed to run the site:

• HydroLog staff who handle access requests
• Resend, which delivers the access-request email from hello@hydrolog.com.au
• Our website host, which serves the pages you visit

Those processors may handle data outside Australia, including in the United States. We only use them to operate the website and send mail. We do not authorise them to use your details for their own marketing.

We may also disclose information if Australian law requires it, or to protect HydroLog, our users, or the public.

We keep access requests while we are running early access and for a reasonable time afterwards, so we can honour a request or answer a follow-up. We then delete or de-identify the record unless we still need it for a legal or operational reason.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for waitlist contact. Write to hello@hydrolog.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy matter, you can complain to us first. If we cannot resolve it, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

HydroLog is built for professional groundwater practice. The website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

When the product launches we will collect more information inside the application (for example project and bore records your Company stores with us). We will update this policy before that happens. The date at the top of this page is the current version.
